This application caters to producers, composers, music theorists, and students alike. Offering a simplified approach to understanding music theory, the isomorphic nature of the spaces ensures that chords maintain consistency across keys, eliminating the need to relearn chord shapes for different tones.

The default 3:4 Balzano space provides distinctive symmetrical attributes that are conducive to visualizing and practicing harmony effectively. In the latest Polyplayground update, the introduction of Swipe Mode 3/4 (scalar swipe) tackles any issues related to step-wise motion, complemented by graphical aids for adjacent scalar notes.

Equipped with a sampler and synthesizer engine featuring individual pitch bend controls for each finger, the app is primarily intended for MIDI controller usage. It seamlessly integrates MIDI input during live performances, enabling users to visualize their jam partners' contributions. Moreover, the ability to stream previously played chords ensures a seamless improvisation experience.

Users can switch between horizontal and vertical pitch spaces by utilizing the dedicated buttons. Guitar and bass enthusiasts can leverage the guitar mode, which adjusts the pitch space to a 5:1 layout (fourths by chromatic), providing familiarity for string players. Similarly, cello players can opt for the 7:1 mode (fifths by chromatic) tailored to their instrument.
